"The
midterm transfer market will close on 10th of February 2014 and before
that date the clubs can either transfer officially or on loan any players they
deem were important for them, so we urge the clubs to complete their process before
the deadline---the market will completely close after” Somali Football
Federation Secretary General Abdi Qani Said Arab said in a letter sent to all
participating clubs earlier.
"I
think the clubs have adequate time to complete their transfer process as the
midterm transfer market was open from 21st of January and will end
on 10th of February” the secretary General noted in his letter.
He
said that there was no much time to wait since the SFF was planning to resume
the second leg of the SFF Nation Link Telecom championship in a week’s time
after the first leg has completed on the 4th of February 2014 and
that is why the SFF was pushing the clubs to complete their transfer process within
the 20-day period.
The
participating clubs must register the players in accordance with the article 1
(A) and article 10 (3 and 4) of the bylaws the principles of the country’s
