The Banadir boys were mostly dominating Sunday’s match, although Horseed made some counter attacks in the early minutes of the clash whose first half ended in 0-0 equality.
In the second half both sides stepped up attacks on the opponents’ goal. However Banadir’s striker Adil Nur Ali happened to score two goals for his club in the 76th and 90th minutes of the match which finally ended in 2-0 in favour of Banadir Sports Club boys who are now in the 3rd position of the country’s division A soccer league.
“My boys have really exhibited well today and I am very hopeful they will make me happy in the upcoming matches—Banadir was always in the first or second position of the league, but our intention is to win the trophy this year” coach Abdirahman Moalim Ahmed (Tree) told a post match press conference Sunday. As shown in the schedules Monday will be a rest day while on Tuesday the defending champions Elman FC will take on LLPP, as FC Ports will play against Badbaado on Wednesday.
