The council of east and central African football associations “CECAFA” has sent a condolence message to the Football Federation in Djibouti for the death of the long-time executive committee member Jibril Ismail Nur who passed away at a hospital in Belgium earlier

“I have read the sad news of the death of Mr. Nur and as CECAFA family this is a painful experience for all of us” CECAFA secretary General Nicholas Musonye said in a letter he sent to Djibouti’s Football Federation President Mr. Hussein Fadoul Dabar.

 

“Dear Mr. Fadoul, please kindly convey my condolence to the football fraternity of Djibouti and the family of the late. Jibril Ismail Nur” Nicholas Musone said in his message to the Djibouti Football Federation President Mr. Hussein Fadoul Dabar.

 

The late Jibril Ismail Nur has served as Djibouti’s Football Federation executive committee member for the past 14 years and had lent a forceful commitment to developing football in Djibouti.

 

Mean while, Somali Football Federation President Said Mahmoud Nur send the same condolence message to his Djiboutian counterpart Hussein Fadoul, the family of the late JIbril Ismali Nur and the whole football community in Djibouti.

 

Djibouti is Somalia’s second home land where the Somali Football federation hosts its home games and as well as international level courses for Somali soccer coaches and referees.
