SFF takes responsibility for the medication of ailing former Ocean stars member

The Somali Football federation has taken over the responsibility of the ailing former Ocean Stars member Mahmoud Nur Mohamed known as Shabeel who has recently been admitted to a hospital in Somalia's capital Mogadishu.


The announcement was made by Somali Football Federation President Mr. Ali Said Guled Roble during a press conference at the Madina hospital in the capital Mogadishu, where the SFF authorities paid a visit to the ailing former National team member.

President Ali Said Guled Roble was accompanied by senior Vice president Mr. Ali Abdi Mohamed, Secretary General Mr. Abdi Qani Said Arab and executive committee members Mustaf Elmi Afrah and Yahye Mohamed Abukar.



The SFF authorities met with the Madina hospital director General Dr. Mohamed Yusuf Hassan who outlined them about the former star’s health conditions and what kind of medication he needed and how much money it will cost.

"The Somali Football Federation will cover all expenses needed for the medication and the recovery of the former national team member Mahmoud Nur Mohamed” SFF president Ali Said Guled Roble told the media after visiting the ailing former footballer at hospital on Wednesday.

"On the behalf of Somali football Family I am very grateful to the Madina hospital director Dr. Mohamed Yusuf and all other medical staff members who paid much more attention to such high profile football individual” President Ali Said Guled Roble noted during his press conference on Wednesday. The president said that SFF will closely watch the situation of the ailing former Ocean stars member until he has fully recovered.
