The CECAFA executive committee meeting
will focus on several agendas including the latest preparations for the forth
coming senior challenge cup which will kick off in Nairobi on 27th of September.
CECAFA meeting will also have a
look at the full readiness for the member nations and this year’s guest teams
outside the CECAFA region who are interested in participating CECAFA senior challenge
cup.
According to CECAFA secretary General
Nicholas Musonye, participation of guest national teams will ‘sweeten’ CECAFA
competitions.
Prior to the start of the competitions, CECAFA executive committee election will also be held. Somali Football Federation Secretary General Abdi Qani Said Arab who is the organizing committee chairman and member of the executive committee intends to retain his position. The Somali Football Federation secretary General will be back to Mogadishu on Friday, as he huge jobs to do in the country.
