City, Jazera clash ends in stalemate

As Somalia's 2013 football stars tournament enters its 3rd day today, the Jazeera palace hotel football team drew with their City Palace hotel rivals in Tuesday's match which ended in 1-1 draw.


Both teams started attacking on each other’s goal in the early minutes of the match which was watched by officials from Somali football federation and business people representing both hotels.

In the 16th minute of the first half City Palace striker Abdi Naser Osman Jama scored the lone goal for his team, but in the Jazeera Palace boys stepped up their attacks to compensate for the goal, as striker Da’ud Omar Abdi scored the equalising goal for the team in the 466th minute of the match. The 90 minute period that it takes to play a football match ended in 1-1 stalemate.








During Yesterday’s match yellow card cautions were given to two players of each team as shown below.
