LLPP Jeenyo, one of the founding clubs of Somali Football Federation on Tuesday gave the military owned club Horseed a 2-1 defeat, with the old club still holding the record of ‘yet unbeaten’ since the Somali football division A championship kicked off in capital several months ago.

Today’s match was totally different from previous matches in terms of the uproar on the stadium and the high sprit of the fans holding boards carrying slogans of support. The fans occupied the stadium several hours before the match kick off.

In the 39th second of the first minute of the match Striker Mahmoud Abdi Nur (Meman) scored a very beautiful goal for his LLPP Jeenyo FC. Somali Football Referee development office Chief Abdi Abdulle Ahmed said the goal was the quickest goal in the tournament yet so far.

Horseed tried their best to compensate for the goal, but they were unsuccessful to score in the first half which ended in 1-0 with LLPP Jeenyo having the lead.

Horseed were scolded by their coach and officials during the half time and as soon as the second half started they launched counter attacks on Jeenyo’s goal and in the 46th minute of the match they compensated for the goal after Isse Mohamed Osman shook the opposite goal and made the match 1-1.

However in the 63rd minute of the second half Abdirisaq Hassan Ahmed scored the winning goal for his LLPP Jeenyo and the match ended in 2-1 in favour of Jeenyo who are still holding the record of unbeaten in the 2012 Somali football championship.

As shown in the fixtures Banadir Sports Club will play against Badbaado on Wednesday while Heegan will encounter Sahafi FC on Thursday,
