Elman defeats Savana by 3-0

As the second leg of the 201-2011 soccer championship is interestingly taking place in Mogadishu, Elman FC on Monday defeated its Savana rivals by three goals to nothing.


The match was so holy-contested and the first half ended in 0-0 draw, but in the early minuets of he second half both teams stepped up attacking on each other’s goal and in the 60th minute of the second half Emlan celebrated its first gal when Striker Sa’ad Saleh Hussein put into the opposite goal.

 

In the 77th minute Elman’s striker Yaqub Mohamed Osman scored the second goal and in the 85th minute Sa’ad Saleh Hussein scored and Monday’s match finally ended in three goals to nothing in favor of Elman.

 

Elman FC, one of the strongest soccer clubs in Somalia is currently leading the Somali soccer league by 21 points, while the next team SITT has 16 points.

 

Monday’s match was officiated by Mukhtar Moalim Yusuf assisted by Saleh Omar Abokar and Hamza Hajji Abdi. Suleyman Sheik Bashir was the fourth official while Former International referee Osman Jama Dira was the match commissioner.
