Elman FC has stepped forward and is leading Somalia’s 1st division football championship with 15 points after defeating the Somali Military Club ‘Horseed by 2-0 on Tuesday afternoon during the 18th match of the championship.

Elman’s Striker Sa’ad Saleh Hussein put into the opposite goal in the 31^st minute of the match and the first have ended in1-0 with Elman having the lead.

After the start of the second half, Horseed tried hard to score, but their efforts ended in smoke when Elman and National team striker Abdi Aziz Mohamed Ali scored the second goal for his team in the 49^th minute of the match which coincided with approximately 4 minutes after the start of the second half.

Striker Abdi Aziz Mohamed Ali is currently leading the goal scoring contest of the tournament with 7 goals, while Abdulkadir Mohiadin of Horseed is running after him with 5 goals.
