On Friday the SFF, concluded CAF license C coaching course which
gathered 19 coaches who previously had their license C. The course took place between
3-5 November. Prior to this, another CAF license B refreshment course for the
country was held and a total of 30 coaches were trained.
The courses were part of a marathon FIFA and CAF level courses
that have been taking place in Somalia for the past four weeks and were all
conducted by FIFA instructor Ulric Mathiot (Seashells).
During his 4-week stay in Somalia, FIFA instructor, Ulric
Mathiot, trained a total of 109 coaches who benefitted from FIFA youth coaching
course [30 coaches], FIFA grassroots coaching course [30 coaches], CAF license
B coaching course [30 coaches] and CAF license C coaching course which gathered
19 coaches. On Friday evening Somali Football Federation organized a
farewell dinner for the FIFA instructor, Ulric Mathiot who is due to leave the
country on Saturday.
