Thousands of the defending champions ‘Banaadir telecom’ fans were on Tuesday very much jubilant at their team’s win over its supper Shell rivals by 2-1 in a match whose first half ended in 1-0 with Super shell having the lead.

Although the Banaadir boys were mostly attacking the opposite goal, they were not fortunate to score in the first half which ended in a goal to nothing in favor of Supper Shell boys who scored the lone goal in the 44^th minute of the first half of the match.

 

But in the 50^th and 52^nd minutes of the second half Banaadir telecom’s Mohamed Farah Abdi and Adil Nur Ali scored two successive goals against Super shell whose hope died down after the follow of goals against them.

 

 

Tuesday’s match was officiated by international referee Nur Mohamed Abdulle, assisted by Osman Abdi Osman and Saleh Omar Abokar, both international assistant referees, while former international referee Hassan Sheylilah Adde was the match commissioner
