Somali PM pledges support for the nation’s reviving sport.

Somali Prime minister Nur Hassan Hussein Adde has promised a full support for the nation’s sport which is reviving from years of conflicts during a meeting with Somali football dignitaries at the Kempniski Hotel in Djibouti last night.


Somali PM praised and thanked Somali football federation for its huge national task for the nation during his meeting with Somali football federation deputy President Ahmed Nur Hassan Abdulle and General Secretary Abdi Qani Said Arab.

 

“You are showing talent and tangible activities, because you are competing with your counterparts in the region despite you have been working under hard circumstances for nearly two decades Prime Minister Nur Adde told Somali football federation dignitaries during their meeting last night.

 

Somali Prime minister hoped for the national football squad to return with success from the upcoming CECAFA senior challenge cup which will continue in Uganda from December 31 2008 to January 13 2009.

 

The Somali Pime Minister Nur Hassan Hussein Adde thanked Djibouti for providing Somalia with a training camp.

 

The meeting was the first ever of its kind between a Somali prime minister and the nation’s football leaders.
