Two observers from FIFA are expected to arrive in
Dar es Salaam on Thursday ahead of Tanzania’s football federation’s (TFF)polls set for Sunday.

TFF election committee chairman Henry Tandau told APA ON Wednesday that a South African national and a FIFA executive committee member, Ashfold Mamelodi, was one of the observers.

Tandau ruled out the possibility of postponing the scheduled elections and that was why the FIFA delegates have confirmed their arrival in advance.

"Stay informed that we have only one way to the election and there will be no postponement unless something terribly wrong happens," Tandau added.

He said most of the election aspirants are busy campaigning and any change now would disrupt their plans and plunge them into chaos.

"We acknowledge that campaigns involve money and are time consuming for the election aspirants," Tandau said.
