With Somali youngsters due to play against Egypt, in the second round of CAF U-17 qualifying match, the Egyptian football Association has congratulated the Somali football federation for its U-17 football team’s promotion to the second round of the African football competition.

In an official letter sent to Somali football federation which the SFF distributed to the media today, the Egyptian football association said that it was Egypt’s pleasure to receive the Somali team in Cairo after it passed from the first level of African Championship U-17.

“We have the pleasure to welcome Somali U-17 team in Cairo and play the mentioned matches here in Egypt” the Egyptian football association said in its congratulatory letter to Somali football federation (SFF).

“Football association in Egypt will be responsible for the fully accommodation during your stay in Cairo” the Egyptian football association said in its letter to Somali football federation.

Last month Somali U-17 football squad qualified for the second round of African youth championships after it defeated its Kenyan rivals and will play against Egypt according to CAF fixtures of the match.
