The course was part of FIFA’s development programs for the country and it was conducted by FIFA instructor, Ali Ahmed (Somalia) assisted by Bento Navesse (Mozambique). A total of 25 young football referees benefited from the top level course which came to an end at the SFF headquarters today.
The young referees who have been officiating the Domestic Youth league, Division one and Division B leagues and as well as the district level youth tournaments for the past several years are expected to promote to the Somali Premier league next year. Somali Football Federation executive committee member and head of the medical committee, Omar Mohamud Nor, concluded the course.
