The Somali national football federation has announced the date to hold the nation’s division 1st and 2nd soccer championships of the year 2009.

A communiqué issued from Somali football federation general secretary’s office noted that the federation schedules to hold the 6^th division two championship and the 36^th division 1^st championship before the end of the year.  

 

The monthly conference of Somali football federation held on July the first has decided to hold both championships on October this year.

 

“Despite difficulties and armed confrontations in Somalia’s lawless capital Mogadishu the SFF is committed to accomplishing its national duties” General Secretary of Somali football federation Abdi Qani Said Arab told somsocer.com.

 

Mean while, Somalia’s U 17 national football team is under the greatest preparation for the upcoming East-central African nations U 17 competition which will be held in Sudanese capital Khartoum in October this year.
