Somalia's Ocean Stars Youngsters have shared points with their Eritrean counterparts in their last group stage match of the ongoing CECAFA U-15 Championship in Eritrea on Saturday afternoon. The match ended in 1-1 stalemate.

Somalia was awarded with a penalty kick in the 24^thminute, but did not benefit from that golden opportunity as Mohamed Omar Da’ud hit the goal post. The first half ended on a goalless impasse.

Right after the start of the second half Somali boys registered a goal that was scored by striker Sabir Hassan Mustaf, but the Eritreans equalised ending their last group stage match 1-1.

Somalia lost two of its group stage matches, and has one win and one draw meaning that both Somalia and Eritrea were eliminated from the tournament, as Burundi and Kenya are through to quarterfinals from group A.
